Thank you for engaging Creative Birds for your special event. By placing an order for goods, you confirm you agree to the below terms and conditions:

Conditions

An order for goods placed by you, the client, via email, telephone or any other means, shall be subject to these terms and conditions. The words ‘you’ and ‘your’ used throughout these terms and conditions, refers to the buyer/client. The words ‘we’, ‘our’ and ‘us’ used throughout these terms and conditions refers to Creative Birds, the seller.


Process

  • A deposit is required to be paid prior to the commencement of any design work on your stationery. For custom design a consultation will take place where we discuss the concept of your stationery design which includes layout, colours, theme, size, shape, font and additional artwork.

  • All text that you would like on your items of stationery must be supplied to us via online form, Word or Email format. If you choose to personalise your stationery with guest names/addresses, Creative Birds will supply you with an Excel document to complete.

  • Each order placed allows for the supply of digital proofs based on the information provided by you. For custom orders up to five rounds of minor revisions and for fixed designs up to 2 rounds of minor revisions can be made to your design (text, colour or font changes). Any further revisions or major revisions (style, imagery, layout etc.) will be charged and added to your final invoice. These charges will be discussed with you and adjusted accordingly.

  • Proofs are sent to all clients and are a means of enabling you to check your chosen product design, wording and layout prior to the final prints. It is your responsibility to check that all details within the design/s are correct. This includes but is not limited to spelling, grammar, timings, names, venues and all other details.

  • You will be asked to confirm ‘OK to print’ if all is ok to proceed which represents you all artwork is approved and your approval to print. The client is responsible for checking all proofs and any error(s) found after the artwork approval email is your responsibility. Creative Birds will not accept liability for any errors once the artwork has been approved.

  • The final payment is due prior to printing your order. No stationery will be printed or dispatched for delivery until full payment is received and cleared through the Creative Birds bank account.

  • No refunds will be given for change of mind, or in the event of a cancelled event once payment has been made. 


Copyright

Any unauthorised reproduction of Creative Birds designs or products is strictly prohibited. Any designs created for you will remain the property of Creative Birds.


Colours

Colours shown in the images displayed on this website and email proofs may vary slightly from the colours of the final printed product. Screens (RGB) display colour differently to printers (CMYK) so there will be a discrepancy between what you see on your screen and what you receive printed. Paper stocks can also affect colours and different print runs can also vary slightly.


Shipping

Stationery orders are sent via Australia Post Express Post. You will be provided with a tracking number. Every care is taken to protect your order when preparing for posting; however Creative Birds cannot be held responsible for loss or damage caused to the item during shipping. Postage and handling are not refundable unless in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. If you live in Darwin, local pick up can be organised.


Marketing

Creative Birds reserves the right to use images of your stationery for marketing purposes. This includes use on social media and all advertising mediums such as but not limited to print and online. Please rest assured that all personal contact details (phone numbers, home addresses or email addresses) will not be disclosed.
