How to choose the best RSVP option for your wedding
With so many ways your guests can RSVP how do you choose the best option for your wedding? Here’s a summary below to hopefully lead you in the right direction.
Postcard/Return Card // My favourite option because I am a sucker for layered invites however not always the most practical option. This traditional option is Nanna friendly, will be a keepsake for wedding box and is very easy to personalise to suite your day. Cons: Additional cost and can be slow to return, especially if you have overseas guests.
Website // Most are free and include an app which means everyone can communicate with each other on the 1 platform and share photos and moments on the go with the whole wedding guest list. You’ll be limited to making the website cohesive with your invites and on the day stationery however any changes to your day (like ‘rona) can simply be done on the site. Cons: Not everyone can navigate a website so they might need a hand.
Email // If you choose this option, I highly suggest (if you haven’t already) to create an email specifically for your wedding, that way nothing will get lost in your mountain of spam and subscriptions emails. Cons: Nanna might not have email but I’m sure you’ll appreciate the phone call RSVP response.
Summary, you might not please everyone with your choice however it’s not about them. You do what is going to be the easier way to manage your guest list.
